Come Out, Stay Out offers a wide range of support services designed to help returning citizens and their families succeed. Our goal is to help individuals move forward with the guidance, resources and encouragement they need to rebuild their lives and remain connected to positive support.
We understand that coming home after incarceration can be challenging. Many returning citizens face barriers related to employment, housing, transportation, education, family relationships and community acceptance. Come Out, Stay Out works to help remove those barriers and connect individuals with practical tools for long-term success.
Reentry Support
We support individuals as they transition from incarceration back into the community. Through guidance, encouragement and resource connections, we help participants create a plan for moving forward with purpose and accountability.
Support Groups
Come Out, Stay Out provides support groups for incarcerated individuals, parolees, probationers and family members impacted by incarceration. These groups offer a safe space for encouragement, conversation, healing and personal growth.
Mentorship
Mentorship is a key part of our work. We connect returning citizens with caring individuals who can provide guidance, encouragement and positive support. We also support children of incarcerated parents by helping them feel seen, valued and encouraged.
Employment Support
Finding meaningful work is an important step toward stability. We help participants prepare for employment, build confidence, develop job readiness skills and connect with opportunities through community and business partnerships.
Education and GED Support
Education creates new opportunities. Come Out, Stay Out helps connect participants with GED preparation, educational resources and training opportunities that can help them move toward a stronger future.
Skilled Trades and Job Training
We work with partners to help returning citizens gain access to skilled trades, technical training and workforce development programs. These opportunities help participants build skills that can lead to steady employment and long-term independence.
Housing Assistance
Stable housing is essential for successful reentry. We help connect individuals with housing resources and referrals that support safety, stability and a fresh start.
Transportation Assistance
Transportation can be a major barrier for returning citizens. Come Out, Stay Out helps participants access transportation support for work, appointments, training, meetings and other important needs.
Family Support
Incarceration affects the entire family. We help support families as they navigate the challenges of separation, reentry, healing and reconnection. Our goal is to help strengthen families and restore relationships whenever possible.
Community Referrals
No one organization can do this work alone. Come Out, Stay Out partners with local organizations, ministries, agencies and businesses to connect participants with the services and support they need.
