Get Involved

Come Out, Stay Out depends on caring volunteers who believe in restoration, second chances and stronger communities. Our volunteers help returning citizens and their families receive the encouragement, guidance and support they need to move forward with confidence.

Whether you have time to mentor, lead a workshop, assist with events or help connect individuals to resources, your support can make a meaningful difference.

Ways to Volunteer
Volunteers can serve in many different ways, including mentorship, support groups, job readiness workshops, family support, transportation assistance, community outreach, event support, administrative help and resource coordination.

Every act of service helps someone take another step toward stability, purpose and a better future.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome compassionate individuals, faith leaders, business professionals, educators, counselors, retirees, students and community members who want to help others succeed.

You do not need to have all the answers. You only need a willing heart, a commitment to serve and a desire to help returning citizens rebuild their lives.

Why Volunteer?
When you volunteer with Come Out, Stay Out, you become part of a support system that helps break the cycle of recidivism. Your time and encouragement can help individuals reconnect with family, prepare for employment, build confidence and stay focused on a positive path.

Together, we can help returning citizens come out, stay out and move forward.Get Started
